The 2026 NCUA Umpire Clinic is Just Days Away!

Welcome to another new season, NCUA umpires! We’re just a few weeks away from kicking off the 2026 season officially with our in-class clinic on Feb. 7, 2026.

We are yet again coming off another massive year for tournaments and teams booked, and look forward to building upon that success again this upcoming spring, summer and fall!

Below are the NCUA clinic dates. All umpires must attend the mandatory classroom clinic plus at least one day of on-field training. Umpires attending both receive first priority when the season begins. (On-field training clinics will be released at a later date)

  • The NCUA In-Class Clinic will be held on Feb. 7 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Anne Gordon Center (1901 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27615).

We will discuss various topics at the clinic for new and experienced umpires in the classroom, including proper dress code, positioning, differences in rules for leagues, signals and more before a lunch break. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE CLINIC. The afternoon portion will be instruction on the field, which includes rotations in two-man crew, dealing with confrontations, balks, communication between umpires and much more!

We will also be discussing the new areas of tournaments that we will have in 2026. There will also be on-field training with live teams. These dates will be discussed during the meeting and/or posted on the NCUA Website (www.ncuaumpires.com).

Thank you for your support and dedication to NCUA. We look forward to meeting everyone at the Training Clinics. Email us if you have any questions or concerns.
