Thank you to each and every umpire who showed up to our 2026 clinic today in Raleigh. Despite a last-minute change to the location, we had more than 70 umpires and crew chiefs attend the in-class meeting on Saturday morning as we prepared for the 2026 baseball season!
We covered everything from rule changes for the upcoming year, mechanics/rotations/responsibilities for new umpires, improvements that can be made this spring, summer and fall, and much more. Whether you were a crew chief who has been to 10-plus clinics or a first-time umpire looking to get started, we couldn’t be more thankful to have you in Raleigh today!
As we announced at the clinic today, we’ll be holding our umpire training tournament on Feb. 21-22 at Womble Park in Holly Springs, N.C. If you haven’t already, please let us know which dates you can work that weekend, as we want both new and experienced umpires on the fields to prepare for the 2026 season! We can’t wait to see you out there!
