2022 North Carolina Umpire Association Clinic Dates
Welcome to the 2022 NCUA baseball season. Following our best season as an organization, we have added additional baseball this year and plan to improve upon the momentum built from 2021.
Below are the NCUA clinic dates. It is mandatory that all umpires attend the class room clinic plus at least one day of on-field training. Umpires attending both receive first priority when the season begins.
Topics to be discussed at these clinics will be:
- Difference between specific rules across organizations.
- Balks
- [On-field] Hypothetical situations (Confrontations, Appeals, etc.)
- [On-field] Two-man mechanics
NCUA booking fees for the upcoming year will be as listed below (Note: Fees must be paid at clinics or prior to calling any baseball)
- Tournament, Showcase, rec baseball, etc.: $175.00/year.
We will also be discussing the new areas of tournaments that we will have in 2022.
There will also be on-field training with live teams. These dates will be discussed during the meeting and/or posted on the NCUA Website (www.ncuaumpires.com).
